A REAL-INSTRUMENT LEARNING GAME

Plug in.
Play a note.
Start a riot.

Your bass is more than an instrument.
It’s your way into the game.

Learn a part. Capture your notes. Hear a riff played with your own bass—then make it your next challenge.

THE MOMENT IT BECOMES YOURS

A few notes.
A whole new reason
to keep playing.

You don’t have to play a full riff to hear your bass carry one.

In the current development build, guided captures of your four open strings become the sounds in a four-bar riff. You hear your own instrument in a fuller part while you learn to play it yourself.

FOUR STRINGS. YOUR STARTING LINEUP.

Meet the band.

Pick a string to hear an example tone, or play the short example pattern. Then imagine it with the sound of your own bass.

Ready when you are.

01 / LEARN

Know where to put your fingers.

String and fret guides, tuning help, and self-paced note practice give you a clear place to start.

02 / CAPTURE

Bring your instrument into it.

Guided takes and level feedback help you capture notes with different playing strengths.

03 / HEAR + PLAY

Get a taste of what comes next.

Hear your captured notes play the riff. Come back to the instrument and build toward playing it yourself.

FIRST UP: BASS GUITAR

Start in the garage.
Work toward the stage.

The current bass tour has three chapters and nine self-paced pitch levels. Learn two short phrases, then put them together.

These are Raven Riot bass studies of the melodies. More instrument courses are planned.

CHAPTER 01LEVELS 1—3

GARAGE REHEARSAL

Make the first
note count.

Jingle Bells

Mute and repeat one pitch cleanly. Small wins start the tour.

Yankee Doodle

Move between nearby scale notes and cross strings.

Land the leap.
Own the phrase.

The Entertainer

Work through semitones and a bigger jump before joining the phrases.

The development build has points, saved local level unlocks, and stage scenes. Progress gives you another reason to pick up the instrument.

IN THE DEVELOPMENT BUILD

Points. Progress. A bass tour.

Keep moving through the current lessons, with light and dark appearance options.

PLANNED

A leaderboard to climb together.

Online leaderboards and more instrument courses are part of the direction. They are not available in the current build.

STILL TAKING SHAPE

More music. More ways to play.

Additional songs and a song store are future plans. Catalog availability will be announced as lessons and licensing are ready.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST GIG

A few things
worth knowing.

In development for Mac and iPad.
No public app download yet.

Can I download Raven Riot now?

Not yet. Mac and iPad development builds exist, but a public download, TestFlight invitation, App Store release, pricing, and release date have not been announced.

Will it work on my iPhone?

The current native development work covers Mac and iPad. iPhone support has not been qualified or announced.

Does it turn any song into my instrument?

No. The current captured-sample example is a four-bar riff built from kept open-string recordings. Hearing your instrument in more ambitious arrangements is the wider direction; arbitrary-song conversion is not a current feature.

What do I need to get started?

A bass guitar and a way to connect its sound to the app. The development build includes input selection, tuning guidance and capture-level feedback. Supported devices and final release requirements will be confirmed before launch.

Are my recordings part of an online leaderboard?

The current build keeps recordings and practice progress locally. Online leaderboards are planned. This website does not record, upload, or ask for access to your microphone.
